SteelSeries Sibera v2 Headset Review
My Thoughts…
First off the SteelSeries Siberia v2 Headset is one sexy looking headset! The white colour headset has got the whole iPod feel going for it. The headset comes in Glossy white, red, black, orange and blue. I would definitely recommend the white ones however the red ones are also pretty cool.
The Headphones fit very easily around you’re head. That means you’re not constantly trying adjust the headset every time you take them on and off. The cups themselves sit right over your ears which does help to cut a lot of the outside noise so you can concentrate on getting back in on the action.
The cups have a leather outer which I have to say do get slightly uncomfortable after a couple of hours use, especially on a warm day and long gaming session.
As far as the sound quality goes no real issues here as there great they do however have more treble on them to help with picking out directional incoming fire which at first did sound a bit odd with music playing.
The Siberia comes with an attached Microphone which has the ability to hide away when your team mates aren’t around on vent/teamspeak. It’s definitely an improvement over the v1 and the sound quality the microphone produces is top notch.
I give the Siberia v2 Gaming Headset a FTW 4/5.
